Bristol Animal Rescue Centre (ARC)

Bristol Animal Rescue Centre has been caring for the city’s pets and wildlife since 1887, helping, healing and homing over 14,000 vulnerable animals each year. At our re-homing centre, we find new and loving homes for around 500 animals each year! At our clinic, we provide veterinary care and treatments to animals belonging to individuals facing financial hardship. We also provide a 24 hour service for injured or sick wildlife and veterinary care to animals who have been victims of cruelty or neglect. Our team works tirelessly, 365 days a year, providing dedicated and professional care to ensure that we give every animal the love and care they deserve. We are delighted to be supported by the customers of Proper Job Brislington through their carrier bag donations. Our work is made possible thanks to your generosity, and many animals will be happier as a result!  The funds raised will be put towards a variety of things from medical treatments and operations, to toys and treats and everything in between!  On behalf of all the animals in our care, thank you for your kind support, we are truly grateful.
Bristol Animal Rescue Centre and Bristol A.R.C. are the new working names of RSPCA Bristol and District Branch and Bristol Dogs and Cats Home (a charity registered in England and Wales 205858).

Proper Job Brislington would like to thank all of their customers for their donations and support, we are pleased to announce that you have raised an amazing amount of £310 so far.

The National Animal Welfare Trust

Proper Job Glastonbury and Street have chosen to support The National Animal Wildlife Trust through their carrier bag collection. So far the stores have raised £670 for this outstanding charity. This would not have been possible if not for our amazing customers.

The National Animal Welfare Trust rescues and re-homes over 1,200 homeless and unwanted pets in the UK every year. During an animal’s time in rescue, they work hard to provide them with training, rehabilitative care and enrichment that will help them through a difficult period of their lives and prepare them for life in a new home. They operate in a safe, non-judgemental environment for people and pets and they never stop caring.
Alex Spurgeon from the charity stated that “although we’ve been helping animals for 47 years, we are never complacent and constantly seek new, innovative ideas we can implement to improve our work and help more animals in need. Kind donations from Proper Job customers allow us to continue our work offering every homeless and abandoned animal that comes into our care the very best chance of a happier future in a loving home.”
